What You’ll Do

We share with you our world of sustainable and permaculture-based farming in a personalized and intimate way! We begin by meandering through herb gardens and taste-testing the bounty. Enjoy stunning views of the Pacific Ocean’s Saanich Inlet, admire a traditional totem pole, and learn about its history and that of the farm. From there, the views widen to include the Mount Newton Valley and the Olympic Mountain range. We taste more herbs and edible flowers while chatting about various ways we grow food using sustainable and permaculture-based methods. Making our way down to the vegetable gardens and fruit groves, we might just snack on berries, plums, apples, grapes, and various other foods (seasonal of course)!

Entering a beautiful acreage where our heritage chickens roam freely about, we share our knowledge with you about raising chickens while you enjoy their unbelievable colorful beauty and feed them by hand. Finally, we enter the goat pasture where our livestock guardian dogs also spend their days. You can brush and pet the goats, and learn how we integrate their manure and milk into our farm life and systems.
